The Board Trustees exercise control through the implementation of written policies and procedures which demonstrate how the organisation upholds its legal and              regulatory obligations.

Policies and procedures further demonstrate how the organisation does its work andhow it manages and treats its employees and volunteers.

Some of the key Policies to consider are:

  • Board Recruitment, Induction & Code of Conduct
  • Role of the Chair & Secretary
  • Succession Planning
  • Employee/Volunteer Recruitment , Induction & Code of Conduct
  • Fundraising Guidelines
  • Internal Financial Controls
  • Risk Management
  • Data Privacy (GDPR)

CharGov will carry out a review of your existing Policies, identifying any updates that may be required and prepare new draft policy documents for approval by your Board.
